The following excerpt is from Shuter v. Toronto Dominion Bank, 2007 CanLII 56528 (ON SCDC):

Security for costs is provided for in Rule 56.01. The Rule itself provides that an order for security may be increased or decreased at any time, and on that account security orders cannot be considered final. See Western Technologies v. Cryptologic Inc. [2005] O.J. No. 1320.
