Can a court order the sale of the matrimonial home?

Ontario, Canada

The following excerpt is from Shahami v Hashemi-Hefzabad, 2015 ONSC 5219 (CanLII):

As Quinn J. stated in Gordon v. Starr,[1] a court order is not a suggestion. There are consequences to non-compliance. Any further issues arising with respect to the sale of the matrimonial home can be addressed by means of a Form 14B motion on notice to the other party, to my attention.
