This case was approved by the Court in Wood v. Ledbitter 13 M. & W. 838; 14 L.J. Ex. 161. In this case, by the Statute, the defendant was a purchaser for value of the grain, he had a statutory license to enter and take the same away. I can see no difference in the breaking open of the door of a granary and the breaking open of a locked gate.
