The issue of sponsorship agreements was also considered in E.P. v. L.D., 2005 BCSC 137 (also known as Paulina v. Davis). In that case, the parties separated one year after the husband sponsored the wife’s and her daughter’s applications for landed immigrant status. Madam Justice Ross wrote at para. 61:
