Does a prohibition of making a demand be revoked?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Schroeder v. British Columbia (Superintendent of Motor Vehicles), 2016 BCSC 2366 (CanLII):

As it is clear that the officer lacked grounds for making a demand this is not a case where a further adjudication is justified. I direct that the prohibition is revoked. (Renaud v. Quebec (Commission des affairs sociales), [1994] 3 S.C.R. 855. Each party shall bear their own costs. “Punnett J.”
