Is service of a notice of objection effective by posting to the address provided by a bankrupt who has not disclosed his true address?

Alberta, Canada

The following excerpt is from Re Rae (Bankrupt), 2005 ABQB 108 (CanLII):

In Syr v. Williams [2003] B.C.J. No. 2660 the British Columbia Court of Appeal deemed service of a notice of objection to be effective by posting to a door of a residence provided by the bankrupt who had not disclosed his true address. Therefore service had been effected in time and this case is also distinguishable.
