Is it reasonable to assume that the same land, year in and year out, will produce the same results?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Seaport Crown Fish Co. Ltd v. Vancouver Port Corporation, 1999 CanLII 6261 (BC SC):

As in Haack v. Martin, supra, in which the court considered that it was not unreasonable to assume that the same land, year in and year out, would produce the same results, I consider that it is not unreasonable to assume that the recent financial experience of Seaport for its traditional business would project to the future.
