What is the notice period for a long-term employer?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Corey v Kruger Products L.P, 2018 BCSC 1510 (CanLII):

Long service generally imports a relatively long notice period, but short service does not require that the notice period be proportionately shorter; Ostrow v. Abacus Management Corporation Mergers and Acquisitions, 2014 BCSC 938 at para. 41. For some lengths of service, there is a rough rule of thumb of a month per year of service, but this breaks down at the low end.
