Can a plaintiff obtain damages for loss of reputation or injured feelings for breach of contract?

Alberta, Canada

The following excerpt is from Neville v. Sentinel Homes Ltd., 1977 CanLII 550 (AB QB):

The plaintiffs cannot obtain damages for loss of reputation or injured feelings for breach of contract: see Addis v. Gramophone Co. Ltd., [1909] A.C. 488. In any event I find that there was no damage to the business goodwill or trading reputation of the plaintiffs as a result of the technical breaches of the contract by the defendants.
