Is a condominium board of directors a legal entity?

Alberta, Canada

The following excerpt is from Phillips v. Canyon Creek Heights Condominium Board of Directors, 2010 AHRC 8 (CanLII):

At Dudnik v. York Condominium Corporation[2](Dudnik), it was determined that a condominium corporation, as well as individual directors of that corporation are legal entities, while a condominium board of directors is not. The result was that the board was removed as a respondent. This complaint names the condominium board as the respondent, while neither the corporation nor individual directors are so named.
