What legal authority supports a claim for damages for loss of housekeeping capacity?

Alberta, Canada

The following excerpt is from Sutherland v Encana Corporation, 2014 ABQB 182 (CanLII):

Through counsel Teresa referred to me to just one legal authority in support her claim for damages for loss of housekeeping capacity. That authority was the case of McIntyre v. Docherty 2009 ONCA 448 from Ontario. It is an appeal from a jury decision. It appears to be some authority for the proposition that work undone around the household, or done with difficulty, is nevertheless compensable.

In the recent case of Sorochan v. Bouchier, 2014 ABQB 37 Belzil J. considered authorities relevant to the housekeeping claim before me, and with which I agree.
