Calmont suggests that I could either direct a new calculation, or make an estimate of damages. It relies on Penvidic v. International Nickel Co., 1975 CanLII 6 (SCC), [1976] 1 S.C.R. 267, in which Spence J. approved of the court estimating damages where there is difficulty in assessing the loss, and that it is not necessary that there be an absolute measure of damages in each case.
