Meisenheimer & Herron (2009) 177 Cal.App.4th 771 (Dietz) identified four factors a court should consider before dismissing a case on the ground that "a defendant attorney's due process right to present a defense would be violated by the defendant's inability to disclose a client's confidential information if the action were allowed to proceed."
