3 In our discussion of the issues raised on this appeal we will specifically cite to only the legislative version ( 667, subds. (b) through (i)) of the three strikes laws. There are "no significant differences" between the legislative and initiative ( 1170.12) renditions of these laws "regarding the provisions at issue here...." (People v.
