As I understand the discussion in Toth v. Toth, it is simply not enough to merely consider the earning capacity of the spouse who is not self-sufficient. It is required that I consider what would have been the case if J.P.E. had taken up all, or half, of the domestic responsibility while his children were younger and required regular attention. It is inescapable on the facts of this case that J.P.E. has an enhanced future earning capacity because child care and housekeeping requirements did not totally fall to him and it is inescapable that half of the child rearing also did not fall to him.
