The only evidence at trial regarding the distribution of shares by province is a document prepared according to the residence of the purchaser. A purchaser’s place of residence does not determine the applicability of a Securities Act. As noted in Pearson v. Boliden, supra, at para. 47, “a distribution does not, without more, occur where the investor resides or happens to be when he or she placed the order.”
