As a final point, the following passage from Knight v. Indian Head Sch. Div. No. 19, supra, at page 675 is useful in understanding the exact meaning of the right to answer: In both the situation of an office held at pleasure and an office from which one can be dismissed only for cause, one of the purposes of the imposition on the administrative body of a duty to act fairly is the same, i.e., enabling the employee to try to change the employer's mind about the dismissal.
