What constitutes a plaintiff’s “means of knowledge” in a claim against all defendants within the limitation period?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Jensen v. Ross, 2015 BCSC 2065 (CanLII):

The plaintiff had knowledge of the facts or could reasonably have ascertained all facts relevant to her claim against all defendants within the limitation period. Facts within the plaintiff's “means of knowledge" are those actually known as well as those which would become known if the plaintiff took such steps as would have been reasonable for her to take in circumstances: Blok v. Matthew, 2012 BCSC 754.
