Several of the alleged causes of action raised by the plaintiff can be dealt with in relatively short order. With respect to harassment, I am of the view that it is not a recognized tort and thus there is no reasonable cause of action for harassment. I reached this conclusion in a decision involving the plaintiff’s claim against his former counsel (see Hyra v. Rolston, 2012 MBQB 160) and reach the same conclusion here.
