What provisions should be added to the pension of the husband when he retires?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Williams v. Williams, 1982 CanLII 391 (BC CA):

Macdonald J.A.: I think something should be added with respect to the pension, in unknown amount, to which the husband will be entitled when he retires. It would be appropriate to make provisions somewhat as indicated by this court in Rutherford v. Rutherford (see pp. 352-53). I think counsel should have no difficulty in working out those details. If they have, the matter can be spoken to.
