What is the value of the lease to Hobbs and what is Hobbs' share?

Saskatchewan, Canada

The following excerpt is from Hobbs v. Johnson, 1989 CanLII 4696 (SK QB):

The loss of the value of the lease to Hobbs would amount to his share of the yearly value of the crop less the yearly cost of production. It is impossible to calculate with mathematical accuracy, but I must do the best I can. In doing so, I am entitled to rely on information available since the date of the breach. Vide: Haack v. Martin, supra, p. 418.
