The Ontario Court of Appeal in Bisoukis v. Brampton (City) (1999) 46 O.R. (3d) at 417, dealt with the definition of a person of unsound mind within the meaning of s.47 of the Limitations Act as a person who by reason of mental illness is incapable of managing his affairs as a reasonable person would do in relation to the incident, or event, which entitles a person to bring an action.
