The following excerpt is from R. v. Sisko, 1977 CanLII 292 (BC SC):

It is my view that in the present case the learned judge below acted prematurely in quashing the information. What he should have done was to follow the course laid down by Lord Goddard C.J. in Edwards v. Jones, supra, at pp. 661-62, which procedure is quoted with the approval of Robertson J.A. in the above-quoted passage from Gosse v. A.G.B.C.
