What is the impact of disruption of sibling relationships between the parties?

Saskatchewan, Canada

The following excerpt is from Edmonds v Green, 2012 SKQB 307 (CanLII):

I also agree with respondent’s counsel that the disruption of sibling relationships can be of particular importance in relation to the best interests of the child: see, for example, MacPhail v. Karasek, 2006 ABCA 238, 273 D.L.R. (4th) 151, at para. 33. That issue must be taken into account in this case, particularly in relation to Taryn.
