The situation then is that the heifer was unlawfully on the highway. I am following the opinion expressed by Lamont, J.A. in Osadchuk v. Russniak, supra, at p. 830: “ * * * in my opinion where the statute prohibits the running at large of animals the prohibition extends to the highway as well as to other lands.”
