Further support for the existence of a tort of private nuisance by telephone harassment can be found in Stoakes v. Brydges, [1958] Q.L.R. (Weekly Notes) p. 9 (No. 5), and Alma v. Nakir (1966), 2 N.S.W.L.R. 396. Injunctive relief was awarded in both of such cases.
