What is the meaning of the term inappropriate in section 4(2)(b) of the BC Statutory Guidelines?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Hausmann v. Klukas, 2016 BCSC 853 (CanLII):

The term inappropriate in s. 4(2)(b) has been held to mean unsuitable rather than merely inadequate. The court has the discretion to order an increase or decrease in the table amount. This same interpretation has been applied in the s. 3(2)(b) context (Stober v. Stober, 2015 BCSC 743).
