In Lee v. Hawkins, [1990] BCJ No 2215 at para. 5, the court found that evidence of diminished value was lacking despite an expert witness for the plaintiff who declared “that it is "virtually impossible" to sell a vehicle that displays the damage declaration without discounting the price substantially.”
