In McCartney v. Canada Post Corporation, [1997] B.C.J. No. 1078 (S.C.) McEwan, J. held that this court did not have jurisdiction to hear the plaintiff's allegations that the employer had breached its employment contract with the plaintiff even in circumstances where it was alleged that the breach had caused the plaintiff mental distress.
