When will a court order the closure of a residential facility where the Respondent's family members reside?

Ontario, Canada

The following excerpt is from Ontario (Community and Social Services) v. Winter, 2009 CanLII 37935 (ON SC):

Given the March 31, 2009 deadline to close the facility where the respondents’ family members resided, it was crucial that each resident’s position was put forward fully during this court managed process to confirm a residential placement that would respond to their particular needs and requirements, and to ensure that there would be sufficient time for the residents to make a smooth transition to their new home. This is in keeping with the above cited passage from Gray v. Ontario, supra.
