Does a motor vehicle accident result in injury?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Yeh v. Ford Credit Canada Ltd., 1996 CanLII 2485 (BC SC):

39 As did Thackray J. in Gordon v. Palmer, supra, at p. 2, I do not subscribe "to the view that if there is no motor vehicle damage then there is no injury." While common sense dictates close scrutiny of injuries arising out of otherwise apparently inconsequential impacts between motor vehicles, likewise, common sense does not foreclose the causation of injury from such impacts.
