The plaintiff brought a motion for summary judgment to determine the notice payable as a result his termination by the defendant. The defendant consents to the matter proceeding by way of summary judgment, and I agree with the parties that this is an appropriate case for summary judgment per Hryniak v. Mauldin, 2014 SCC 7, [2014] 1 S.C.R. 87.
