Under s. 7 of the Guidelines the court may provide for an amount to cover special and extraordinary expenses, which include health expenses and expenses for post-secondary education (“Section 7 Expenses”). Barring exceptional circumstances, parents contribute to special and extraordinary expenses in proportion to their respective incomes: Guidelines, s. 7(2); Ferreira v. Ferreira, 2002 BCSC 1153 at para. 24.
