Until the recent decision of Collver, J. in Coad v. Risk, [1999] B.C.J. No. 1130, (May 19, 1999), the Registrar would not entertain a review of an account rendered pursuant to contingent fee agreement unless there had been a ruling that the agreement was unfair.
