What are the costs of a motion brought by a plaintiff?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from McPhee v. HMTQ re costs, 2007 BCSC 1354 (CanLII):

On April 30, 2007 I issued Reasons for Judgment in this case (McPhee v. HMTQ et al., [2007] B.C.J. No. 1354, 2007 BCSC 568) in which the plaintiff’s action was dismissed. I directed that if they could not agree on the issue of costs, the parties should make written submissions through the registry. Submissions were made and this is the ruling on this issue.
