Is there any case law in which a contract contains a contingency agreement?

Alberta, Canada

The following excerpt is from Crawford v. Morrow, 2004 ABCA 150 (CanLII):

Molstad Gilbert v. Douglas Rentals, supra, is also not on point. It contains dicta about a contingency agreement. This is not a contingency agreement, and there are Rules of Court on them which do not apply here. And the dicta are about departing from the contract. Given my interpretation of the contract here, that does not arise. G. Conclusion
