However, as I read Darville v. R., supra, it was not meant to be exhaustive but rather a list of three conditions that must ordinarily be established. Overall, I, as Trial Judge, still have the discretion to grant or refuse any request for an adjournment as long as it is exercised in a judicial manner for appropriate reasons.
