Maxwell (1988) 206 Cal.App.3d 1004, 254 Cal.Rptr. 124, the court found the officer's conduct in ordering the passenger out of a car [217 Cal.App.3d 1460] without license plates reasonable where the driver had no identification or vehicle registration and the officer wanted to see if the passenger could aid in accurately identifying the driver.
