What is the test for injurious relief in a defamation case?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from Hudson v Myong, 2020 BCSC 517 (CanLII):

Injunctive relief is an extraordinary remedy in a defamation claim which will only be imposed in the clearest of cases. Injunctive relief must be carefully considered when there is a likelihood that further defamatory statements will be made and a real possibility the plaintiffs will not be compensated by the payment of damages: Newman v. Halstead, 2006 BCSC 65 at para. 298.
