The following excerpt is from Suzhou Raybot Material Tech Corp. v Zhu, 2018 BCSC 1241 (CanLII):

Delay may be fatal to an injunction application if the plaintiff fails to act in a reasonable time: Chiu v. Jao (1998), 82 A.C.W.S. (3d) 1189 (B.C.S.C.) at para. 16.

When bringing an ex parte application, the applicant must make full and frank disclosure of all material facts. A material fact is one that might affect the outcome of the application: Kriegman v. Dill, 2018 BCCA 86 at para. 43.
