The following excerpt is from G.R.C. v. L.M.E.C., 2006 BCSC 1479 (CanLII):

A court can impute income in situations where a payor parent appears to have averted income, fails to provide information concerning his or her income, or appears to have a greater income given lifestyle and expenses: see Dyer v. Nash, 2005 BCSC 1007, at para. 29.
