Factors to consider in assessing a witness’ credibility include the firmness of their memory, whether the witness’ evidence harmonizes with independent evidence that is accepted, whether the witness changes their testimony between direct and cross-examination, whether the witness’ testimony seems unreasonable, impossible, or unlikely, whether a witness has a motive to lie, and, with caution, their demeanor: Bradshaw v.
