It is well settled that the filing of an appeal does not stay a motion for attorney fees. ( Hennessy v. Superior Court (1924) 194 Cal. 368, 372, 228 P. 862.) When Domestic learned of the hearing on the motion, it filed opposition prior to the trial court's ruling. Domestic cites no prejudice resulting from any error in the procedure.
