International law does not prohibit a sentence of death rendered in accordance with state and federal constitutional and statutory requirements. (People v. Friend (2009) 47 Cal.4th 1, 90, 97 Cal.Rptr.3d 1, 211 P.3d 520.)

Factors (a), (b), and (i) of section 190.3 are not unconstitutionally vague. (People v. Williams (1997) 16 Cal.4th 153, 267, 66 Cal.Rptr.2d 123, 940 P.2d 710.)
