In Davidson v. Metropolitan Area Growth Investments Ltd. (1977), 28 N.S.R.(2d) 376; 43 A.P.R. 376, the plaintiff-lawyer was dismissed after five months. The court held he was entitled to 12 months notice. The plaintiff had been a practicing lawyer for 20 years prior to taking up employment with the defendant company.
