What is the current state of the job market for young women who cannot find full-time employment?

Saskatchewan, Canada

The following excerpt is from Phillip v. Phillip (Kreger), 1989 CanLII 4610 (SK QB):

In Clarke v. Clarke (1985), 67 N.S.R.(2d) 10; 155 A.P.R. 10, support was continued for two girls, age 19 and 20, who could not find full-time employment after financial constraints forced them to work for a year before entering university. The court concluded that their age, lack of education and job skills as well as the current state of the job market made it impossible for them to withdraw from their mother's charge.
