Is there a repudiation of an agreement for increases in child support?

British Columbia, Canada

The following excerpt is from J.R. v. A.R., 2011 BCPC 445 (CanLII):

The evidence of the parties did not satisfy me that they had arrived at an agreement for an increase in child support. I was referred to the case of Owen v. Owen, 2011 BCSC 1284 regarding repudiation of an agreement for child and spousal support, but I think that case dealt with a unique scenario where the payor parent had failed to pay under the agreement and by the time of the trial he wanted to enforce it, presumably because his income had gone up. In any event, the issue in this case is whether there was an agreement in respect of the amount of child support.
