Federal Court of Appeal decision Stevens v. Canada (Prime Minister), 1998 CanLII 9075 (FCA), [1998] 4 FC 89 CanLII 9075 (FCA) recognizes that invoices of lawyers constitute communications for the purpose of obtaining advice and solicitor-client privilege applies. I am satisfied that the second part of the test is met.
