Can a defendant be found guilty of a violation of section 288 of the California Penal Code?

California, United States of America

The following excerpt is from People v. Sneed, F064257 (Cal. App. 2013):

The court agrees with defendant and accepts plaintiff's concession. Defendant was in fact found guilty of a violation of subdivision (c)(1) of section 288. Accordingly, the abstract of judgment should be corrected to conform with the jury's verdict and the trial court's oral pronouncement as to count 15that defendant was convicted of a violation of subdivision (c)(1) of section 288.
