In most cases, however, a monetary award will be sufficient to remedy the unjust enrichment. A monetary award can be calculated on a value received basis, which takes into account the value of the benefits determined by their cost on the open market; or on a value survived basis, which looks at the value created in an asset by the plaintiff’s contributions: Wilson v.
